Quote Series #4 : Imagination

As quoted by Napoleon Bonaparte :)

I have a bit of an over-active imagination sometimes (all the time!) When I walk down the street or sit on a train or bus I always have little scenes playing out in my head and I have ridiiiiiiiiiculous dreams and scary, vivid nightmares all the time! Ever since I was little my minds turned small noises in the night into ghosts, intruders, friendly cats coming to visit me, aliens and probably other weird stuff I can't remember! I imagine whole street scenes ("what would happen if....") and random dialogues on a daily basis. So I really think my imagination works overtime. Or I'm nuts. :p

But I think this quote is really cool- thanks Mr. Bonaparte.

Anyone have a fave quote they wanna share with me? I'd love to hear! :)

Quote Series #3

This weeks quote is done using ze computer, rather than hand-drawn illustration. I did my 21st party invitation in this style a little while back and it was fun!
The quote is from here and is from the book "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I read the book when I was a teenager and saw the movie twice at the cinema.....it was filmed in NZ and directed by NZ's very own Peter Jackson! Susan Sarandon actually came into the shop I worked in while they were filming....it was so funny! Everyone got a bit excited :)

Happy Friday!! xox

*I'm working on making this and some others available as prints! Watch this space :)*
