Hi!! Here's 7 confessions inspired by Leigh-Anns post a couple of months ago! 

1. I'm reading 2 books at once on my Kindle. When 1984 gets too hard-going, I read some of A Wrinkle in Time. When I need a change from magical kid adventures, I turn back to 1984. Sometimes I have a short attention span :)

2. In another life (where I didn't mind bugs) I'd like to be an explorer like Charles Darwin or (where I didn't mind blood and murders) a detective.

3. I get super cranky if I'm too tired, too hungry, too hot, too cold, too anything! (like a baby!!)

4. I buy a diary/planner at the beginning of each year, use it for a week or two but then abandon it because I keep everything in my brain and it works! I  have a good memory. Most the time.

5. I can spell my name on a calculator. It's '302' and then you turn it upside down :)

6. My biggest fear is car accidents, and I'm also scared of the dark, spiders, staying in a house alone at night and I can't watch scary movies. But I did move to the other side of the world where I didn't speak the language which I think is kinda brave :)

 7. I don't really know what my natural hair color is... I *think* it's dark blonde. My hair has been blonde, blonde with fluro pink, blonde with dark purple, blonde with brown, white blonde, chocolate brown, black, black with brown streaks, light brown…. and I still want to have ginger hair one day.

I was thinking about doing a confessions post like Leigh-Ann did last week, which inspired a few other bloggers to do their own. They're so fun to read! But then I thought, seeing as I'm a bit of a new kid on the block, (on the blog?....hmm bad pun..) that I might do a broader Fun Facts list! (Confessions can come later :p)
So here is 6 random fun facts about me: 

1. I have a twin sister. Her name's Hayley and she's a mum and is studying Childbirth Education. We aren't identical- we're pretty much complete opposites! She has two little boys- Toby is 3 1/2 and Riley turns 2 this week. The boys call me Aunty Zozo and we have Skype dates where we make funny faces and noises at each other and pretend to tickle each other through the screen. It's so cute.

2. I have a freckle on my lower lip that's been there since I was tiny- I'm never really aware of it and sometimes get a fright when I see it in the mirror and go 'ohh yeah you! I forgot about you!' Sometimes I wonder if strangers think I have chocolate on my lip but they're too awkward to tell me! So funny. (Oh you can see it in the picture above!)

3. I've had lots of different jobs; some lasted longer than others…. berry picker, baby pine-tree sorter, bottle labeler, dishwasher, fish'n'chip fryer/burger queen, cafe worker, real estate office assistant, barista, food retail supervisor, in-store coffee machine demonstrator, design store retail assistant, cleaner, babysitter/nanny, graphic designer, photographer, illustrator….Freckled Nest designer!!!! :D

4. I've wanted to be a tattoo artist ever since I was 13 and my dad started getting his forest back piece done. My parents said "Go to university first then see if you want to after that,"..... I still do!

5. I really like Monopoly. But no-one else really does and won't play it with me. There are a lot of Monopoly haters out there. 

6. I loooove animals. I follow squirrels (we don't have them in NZ- you shoulda seen me when I first saw one in Germany!) If I'm at someone's house and they have a cat, I'll try and make friends with it. I stand next to dogs at the train station hoping they'll snuffle me and then I can pat it without it being weird. (I KNOW that's weird! But "Hey can I pat your dog?" -that's a bit creepy…) When I'm settled back in NZ or wherever I'm going to get SO many pets :)
