Pretty Pretty #10: My Animal List
Steve saw a baby fox on Monday night. He failed to tell me this until last night. When he told me I instantly span around to face him, tensed up and spread/gripped my fingers onto the desk (like how a cat spreads it's legs and arms (?) out when it's above water..) and said in a mildly hysteric voice "Omg. Tell. Me. Everything."
I sometimes always get like this around baby animals, or as it seems, even stories about baby animals... So tense and excited and needing to grip something due to the overwhelming cuteness.
(Maybe send help...)
The reason behind the cuteness freak out (this time) is that ever since leaving NZ I've had a list of Animals I Must See In The Wilderness while in Europe. I'm so jealous he got to see a Fox.
This is it, listed in preferential order:
Squirrel
Fox
Moose
Wolf
Owl
Woodpecker
I've seen the crossed out ones. So, this weeks Pretty Pretty is inspired by my list :)

aaaand.... IT'S EASTER WEEKEND- YAY! (he's totally saying Yay!)
Are there any animals you're dyyyying to see one day??
And is anyone doing anything AWESOME this long weekend?
I'm going to make hot cross buns seeing as Germany doesn't seem to know about them and I am a hot cross bun addict (Steve was so confused last year when I wanted to buy 4 bags to freeze after Easter) Frith sent me her Mum's recipe torn out from an 80's magazine (awesome!) so I'll see how I go!! I also plan on maybe hiring a bike and taking some big rides with Steve around Frankfurt and the river, and maybe doing a day trip on the train somewhere. And having chocolate for breakfast :)
Happy Easter!!
